z/OS Mainframe Job Control Language (JCL) Course

Course Abstract: The purpose of this course is to provide the participant with a working knowledge of Job Control Language including how JCL is used to control and override JCL Procedures (PROCS). The hands-on workshops provide real-life scenarios to reinforce the participant guide materials.
Audience: These courses is designed for individuals who are programmers, analysts, and production control personnel needing an understanding of what JCL is and how to effectively use it in the submission, running and reviewing of mainframe jobs.

> Know what JCL Procedures (PROCs) can do
> Know that JCL PROCs have overrides, variables, and can be nested
> Recognize common JCL Abend Codes
