| Course Abstract: |
This course explains how the mainframe is used by the enterprise as a data processing backbone as it connects to midrange, client/server, and internet computing solutions. It presents the WHAT’S, WHY’S, and HOW’S of the IBM Mainframe. The course also covers all ISPF browsing and editing commands and the major online utility functions that are used by development and support personnel in addition to submitting and reviewing batch jobs.
No matter what their background, participants leave this class comfortable with navigating around and getting things done on the Mainframe. |

This course is designed for participants who require knowledge of fortune 1000 business computing using enterprise systems on the back-end and anyone who currently uses or needs to use TSO/ISPF. This course may be attended by management, analysts, programmers, operators, and end users. It introduces the basics and then quickly jumps to the new and advanced techniques thus providing a great refresher even for experienced programmers. |
