Course Abstract: This workshop will consist of a variety of highly interactive activities permitting maximum participation/sharing of observations and experiences by the attendees. The workshop will be based in part on two of the presenter’s most recent books: Americans At Work: A Guide to the Can-Do People and Old World, New World: Americans and Europeans.
Audience: This course is designed for anyone.

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

> Defining culture and explaining why it matters and how it will affect this group
> Identifying key cultural differences in business and workplace norms between the U.K. and the U.S.
> Identifying the most common challenges these differences cause in the work environment
> Identifying strategies/suggestions for addressing these issues going forward
