This course will be available in Quarter 2 of 2009
This core course provides a comprehensive understanding of using QTP as an automated functional testing tool for testing and manipulates databases. Participants will use QTP l to automate applications that use database information. They will understand relational databases, databases terms and types, understand and use ADO, ODBC and ADO objects like connection, recordset and command; use common actions on databases as testers by searching, filtering and sorting recordset. Attendees will also use disconnected recordset to increase the performance and avoid locks, and perform database checkpoints to static and dynamic data.
Note: All topics are supported by hands-on exercises based on real-life examples. |
