Myers Briggs Understanding Others and Ourselves Course

Course Code: MQ 514
Course Abstract: In this course, participants take a 95 question instrument and identify a four-letter Myers Briggs Type. Myers Briggs type is an indication of preferences. The preferences refer to gathering energy or processing of thoughts, detailed oriented versus big picture in gathering information, objective or subjective in decision-making, structured, or go-with-the flow in orienting our lifestyle. Myers Briggs is a nonjudgmental instrument that helps individuals and teams understand self and others in a way that is value oriented versus evaluative. In this, course participants increase awareness of how their preferences and other's preferences influence daily behaviors. Testimonials

(Instructor) was great. Her knowledge of the subject and ability/desire to focus on our needs was phenomenal. We gained so much from those two days. I have already spoke with my boss (Director of IT) about some needed changes and access rights to allow us to be a much more productive group. Some of the things (instructor) showed us and helped us with will allow us to reduce the number of man hours required for one of our primary functions by 3 to 4 hours per event.
