Microsoft® Operations Framework (MOF) 4.0 delivers practical guidance - not just theory - for everyday IT practices and activities. This guidance helps users establish and implement reliable, cost-effective IT services. MOF professionals have access to valuable content, templates and job aids. MOF is an agnostic and practical framework, the knowledge gained in the course applies to all organizations, regardless of the platforms or applications in use.
MOF 4.0 Foundation is a three (3) day, instructor led course which provides an understanding of the newly updated MOF service lifecycle phases, key concepts, processes and management reviews. Class exposes participants to the four (4) phases of the MOF lifecycle: Plan, Delivery, Operate, and Manage.

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
> Know Service Management as a practice > Know how MOF contributes to operational excellence > Recognize how MOF interfaces with other service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) > Learn the 3 phases (Plan, Deliver, Operate) and foundational layer (Manage) of the MOF Lifecycle > Identify the Service Management Functions (SMFs) defined within each phase > Recognize the Management Reviews (MRs) defined within critical SMFs to ensure that the service is ready for the next lifecycle stage > Know the Manage Layer and how it supports the other phases with governance, change and team/resource management

| Course Topics: |
Exam & Certification: Learners will be equipped to earn their Foundation Certificate in Microsoft Operations Framework by achieving a passing score on a 60 minute, 40 question multi choice, scenario based examination. The exam is accredited and administered by EXIN on the final day of class.
Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional Development Units (PDUs): Earn 22 contact hours or PDUs upon completion of this course.

| Prerequisites: |
Knowledge of best practice process frameworks is recommended. The preference is a Foundation Certification in IT Service Management such as ITIL Foundation and / or ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation.
