This Awareness Overview introduces the principles of IT Service Management (ITSM) based on the ITIL® v3 set of best practices.

Audience: The target audience for this course is IT Managers, IT staff and process owners, application, project and business managers directly involved in IT, and any member of an organization involved in delivery and or support of IT services.
Duration: 4 hours
Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of this overview, the participant will be able to:

> Recognize the main concepts, processes, benefits and challenges of ITIL® v3
> Gain insight into the holistic service life-cycle approach that forms the core of ITIL® v3
> Identify how ITIL® v3 contributes to making an IT organization manageable
> Gain access to a standardized vocabulary
