Course Abstract:

This Accredited course replaces the independent Change and Configuration Management Practitioner Courses. In five days you will learn to manage, organize and optimize the Change, Configuration and Release (CRC) through interactive classroom training.

 

Class focuses on developing a strategy for a controlled and centralized CRC function within your IT organization. It is aimed at improving quality of service by responding to the need for changes in a controlled and time-effective manner, while providing accurate information about the infrastructure.

Audience:

This course is applicable to anyone involved in the management or day-to-day practice of Configuration Management, Change Management and/or Release Management, in-house or outsourced, as well as anyone defining new processes, refining or managing an existing Configuration Management process, Change Management process and/or Release Management process.  This course is ideal for the following roles: Process managers, process coordinators, IT managers, IT supervisors, IT team leaders, all Configuration Management, Change Management and Release Management staff.

Prerequisites:

Foundation Certification in IT Service Management along with practical experience in related field of specialization. Prior to taking the examination, learners must successfully complete four in-course practical assignments as part of the certification requirements. Practitioner certification is intended for process owners and practice area consultants.
