Diversity in the Workplace Course

Course Abstract: The focus of this class is to enhance and raise the awareness of associates in the workplace about diversity –how to appreciate and encourage diversity. Great-Place-to-Work organizations are “diversity smart”. By participating in several activities and discussions, participants will gain knowledge about their own personal ideas about diversity and learn a Four-Step Model that will enable them to effectively assess and respond to diverse situations. 
Audience: This course is designed for anyone.
Duration: 1 day
Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

> Define diversity
> Identify what is a diverse workplace
> Identify personal diversity challenges
> Reflect on personal awareness of cultural diversity
> Apply the F.I.N.D. Model to effectively communicate in diverse situations
