DISC Course

Course Code: MQ 237
Course Abstract:

Behavior research suggests that the most effective people are those who understand themselves, both their strengths and weaknesses, so they can develop strategies to meet the demands of their environment. People seem to learn a self-concept that is in accord with one of four factors: dominance-challenge, influence-contacts, steadiness-consistency, and compliance-constraints.

In this class, participants analyze their behavioral style -- the manner in which they do things. Through the use of individual and group activities and discussion, participants gain an understanding of their personal style as well as how they work with others.
