| Course Abstract: |
This class, with hands-on labs, introduces the IT programmer to OS/400, the iSeries Operating System. Disk and memory management, filing systems, Command Language (CL), and user interfaces are explained. OS/400 work management concepts are also discussed, explaining different types of work running on the iSeries, and the programming attributes that control them. OS/400’s relational database, UDB DB2, is introduced and its’ integration with OS/400 highlighted. |
