WebLogic 10 Performance Tuning Course

Course Abstract: This course will train participants to perform the majority of WebLogic Performance Tuning techniques. In this class we will investigate common Operating System, JVM, WebLogic, and application performance issues.
Audience: This course is designed for individuals who are WebLogic 9 or 10 System Administration experienced.
Duration: 3 days
Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

> Monitor Central Processing Unit (CPU) usage
> Use a few tools to monitor OS performance
> Use tools like Grinder to stress test applications
> Tune parameters on the Sun Hotspot and BEA JRockit Java Virtual Machine
> Tune parameters on BEA WebLogic Server
> Recognize the impact of work managers on the performance of applications deployed on BEA WebLogic Server
> Tune J2EE applications level parameters deployed on BEA WebLogic Server
> Improve the performance of a cluster of BEA WebLogic Servers
