Course Abstract: This course provides insight into the Web 2.0 phenomena from a business user’s perspective. In this one day session, attendees will learn what features commonly characterize the Web 2.0 movement, including Rich Internet Applications, collaboration activities, social networking, and content exchange. Attendees will also learn how service-oriented architectures and Web 2.0 work together.  The course concludes with a discussion of how to leverage and adopt the Web 2.0 concepts to incorporate them into the business enterprise model.
Audience: This course is intended for individuals seeking to improve the quality and capabilities of their current applications.  It was created as a means for opening doors to new Web 2.0 technologies so that managers, analysts, and designers can see and evaluate the technologies available to them.

Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to identify the key principles of Web 2.0 and business interaction models associated with Web 2.0.  They should also be able to apply the concepts toward their projects and requirements.
