| Course Abstract: |
In this course, participants learn to create tables and manipulate data, tables and other database objects using ANSI-standard SQL and Sybase’s Transact-SQL extensions, and gain hands-on experience using Adaptive Server databases. Participants will also learn the special features and functions of the Adaptive Server, such as automatic recovery of transactions, stored procedures, triggers, and cursors. In addition, participants will learn to use good programming techniques and develop strategies for writing efficient applications. |

This course is designed for end-users and SQL developers who own, access or develop database and database applications managed by an Adaptive Server Database administrators and SQL developers who need to familiarize themselves with Adaptive Server architecture and functionality. |
