Course Abstract: This course teaches the development of J2EE-based Web applications in the BEA WebLogic Server 8.1 environment.
Audience: This course is designed for web application designers and programmers who are interested in learning Java Web application development in the WebLogic environment.
Duration: 5 days
Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
>Recognize J2EE-based Web application architecture and development
>Indentify Web application development in the BEA WebLogic Server environment
>Setup the WebLogic application development environment
>Develop WebLogic applications using JBuilder and/or your favorite text editor
>Deploy WebLogic applications

Set up of the VisualCafé and WebLogic application development environment
Servlet and JSP programming with JBuilder
JB programming (Session Beans, Entity Beans and Message-Driven Beans)

Prerequisites: A good understanding of Web technologies and server-side programming for dynamic Web content, a good understanding of core Java syntax, and a good understanding of OO concepts is required.
