Course Abstract: This course uses lecture and hands?on labs to explain the Query Management Facility (QMF) capabilities including the Query By Example (QBE), 'Prompted Queries' and QMF's report design and formatting capabilities. Also, basic Structured Query Language (SQL) is discussed for accessing DB2 table data directly.
Audience: This course is designed for business unit personnel, end users, managers, technical and non-technical professionals, and other personnel needing the ability to do simple data retrieval, table processing, and report generating.
Duration: 3 days
Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
> Explain the Query Management Facility (QMF)
> Explain the DB2 UDB SQL Relationship to QMF
> Recognize how to access DB2 UDB Table data
> Use Sophisticated QMF Reporting techniques

Prerequisites: DB2 Concepts and Facilities (RT 01) is recommended, but not required
