Oracle9i Discoverer For Administrators Course

Course Code: RT 281
Course Abstract:

This class will teach participants the purpose and capabilities of the Discoverer 9i Administrator tool. This class teaches participants how to use the Discoverer Administrator tool. This tool allows users to create an End User Layer, which serves as a metalayer between the data source and Discoverer. Participants will also learn how to create and manage business areas, which will hide the complexity of the data source and provide a user-friendly view of the data for end users.

This class will present a thorough knowledge of the Discoverer tool.  Thereafter each user can learn to apply this knowledge to the company's internal data model. Data administrators are in the best position to explain the company's data model. This course can only be sold in conjunction with the Oracle9i Discoverer For Desktop Users (Volume I) since it is a prerequisite.
