Lotus Domino Web Access (DWA) 7 User Essentials Course

Course Code: LN 44
Course Abstract:

During this course participants will send and reply to electronic mail using the IBM Lotus Domino Web Access (DWA) 7 application in a browser. Because the Mail incorporates Sametime instant messaging, participants will also know when people are online so they can chat in real time.

This course thoroughly covers the calendar and scheduling features found in Mail. Attendees will use the Calendar to keep track of appointments and to schedule meetings. While planning a meeting it is possible to check your co-workers’ schedules to see who is available for a meeting. Attendees can reserve a room and other resources so that everything is in place when the meeting starts.

Participants will learn to how to keep track of To Do’s and to view To Do’s in Gantt chart form to more easily visualize tasks.  Attendees will create contacts and groups to help manage relationships, as well as to assist in mail addressing. This course also shows how to continue to access Mail while disconnected from the Internet and then synchronize changes when reconnected.
