Intro to SYBASE (ASE 15) Course

Course Abstract:

In this course, participants will gain hands-on experience with the newest features of Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE), such as new functions, increased number of arguments in IN statements, increased limits on object identifiers, and new datatypes. Participants learn to create tables and manipulate data, tables and other database objects using ANSI-standard SQL and Sybase’s Transact-SQL extensions. Attendees will also learn the special features and functions of the Adaptive Server, such as automatic recovery of transactions, stored procedures, triggers, and cursors. In addition, good programming techniques and developing strategies for writing efficient applications will be covered.
