Course Abstract: This course combines lectures and hands-on labs to teach the participant how to administer a DB2 UDB database environment. It includes information on the overall architecture of DB2 UDB, plus enables the student to perform an array of administration tasks including the creation of a database, tables, views, indexes; the extraction and insertion of data, backup and restore, problem determination and performance tuning.
Audience: This course is designed for New DB2 UDB administrators or administrators migrating from other database environments.
