Course Abstract:

This course uses a lecture format to cover the DB2 environment, an overview of design considerations, accessing data using SQL, and embedded SQL. It also introduces SPUFI, QMF, and other interfaces to DB2 (IMS and CICS).

NOTE:The two-day version provides a hands-on introduction to Query Management Facility QMF and has time to deal with DB2 Concepts in more depth.

Audience: This course is designed for managers, data processing personnel and end-users who need a practical introduction to DB2.
