Course Abstract: This course provides a more in-depth look at DB2 UDB SQL for design, performance and tuning considerations including the building of Java Stored Procedures via DB2’s Stored Procedure Builder.
Audience: This course is designed for DB2 Application Programmers, team leaders, and application DBA's needing specific information regarding the DB2 engine for SQL access efficiencies including access path length, index usage and other relational database run time issues.

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
> Use more advanced DB2 UDB SQL performance issues
> Recognize when and how to write advanced SQL statements
