Course Abstract: This course covers the customization of the Active Portal for JSP web reporting application. The focus is on the structure of the application and the various components and technologies that comprise it. In a hands-on lab environment, participants use JSPs, JavaScript, HTML, and other standard web technologies to customize web templates. This course also describes tasks related to providing security in the web reporting site, and how to integrate Active Portal for JSP into a single security domain. Each participant receives a comprehensive course manual, which functions both as a workbook during class, and as a detailed reference guide once the class is completed.
