Theory is great but I want to hear how other companies are using ITIL®…

Reading the ITIL® books and attending training is very helpful to understand what ITIL® is and how it can help any organization of any size in any industry.  For those who want to hear the success stories, lessons learned and challenges of other organizations with their use of ITIL®, I recommend attending an IT Service Management Forum USA (itSMF USA) meeting.

 

itSMF USA is the United States chapter of the ITSMF international organization which has over 40 chapters. itSMF USA began in 1997 and has grown to become the premier IT Service Management professional forum.  itSMF USA is a member driven organization organized in Local Interest Groups (LIGs) and one Student-Special Interest Group (S-SIG) located in over forty major metropolitan areas of the country and many others are being started. http://www.itsmfusa.org/mc/page.do?sitePageId=2992

 

September 7 – 13, 2008 is the itSMF National Conference in San Francisco http://www.itsmfusion.com.  This conference provides a great opportunity to choose a variety of sessions to attend in order to hear how other organizations are using ITIL® in one location.
